Chosen by organizers for the second consecutive year due to their hospitality, Starkey Station owners Dave and Sylvia Beede are once again opening their establishment and arms to embrace the motorcycling community. With plenty of camping space, fire pits and patio space for meals, Starkey Station is a great place to mingle with old and new friends, relax and forget about the rest of the world for a spell. If you want riding and exploring the hundreds of miles of paved roads in the area are perfect for a daytrip or three!
The Station is located at 3400' elevation on NF51, just off the
Ukiah-Hilgard Highway. about 12 miles off I-84, east of LaGrande, Oregon. The
area has numerous twisty paved roads, surrounded by national forests and
wilderness areas. Most of the roads have minimal traffic, and some have as many
as 10 curves per mile.
If camping is not your thing (or your co-pilot’s) motels are available a short distance away in LaGrande and we will be working on some special rates for those interested.
