Northwest Motorcycle Roundup

Northwest Motorcycle Roundup

The Northwest Motorcycle Roundup came from a discussion between two Pacific Northwest motorcycle enthusiests who met through the internet while discussing modifications to their bikes. Upon further thought it was decided they would like to meet and before you know it the idea of a rendezvous open to all riders and makes of bikes was hatched. Combining previous experience with motorcycle gatherings and knowledge gained at RV rallys they came up with the following concept. Hold an annual gathering, open to anyone and everyone regardless of club affiliation or motorcycle manufacturer, provide meals and a gathering place due to traveling by motorcycle making it harder to pack provisions and to provide opportunities to meet new people and ride new roads.

Even though we had planned on holding it a different location each year, our experience at Starkey Station in 2008 led us to going back there in 2009... and I am sure we will return there again in the future! This year is North Central Idaho and we are collecting ideas from folks on where to hold the 2011 event.

One other adjustment we have had to make is limiting the number of registrants. Due to the logistics providing food and drink for hungry bikers, we have decided to limit registration to 40 adult registrants. Children and teenagers do not count toward that total but it does mean if you want to be assured a spot you get your registration filed in a timely manner.
